Will you help older people in Gaza and Lebanon?
Millions of people have been affected by growing conflict in the Middle East. People across Gaza, Lebanon and the wider region are in urgent need of support.
Older people are at risk
While older people are among those most at risk, their needs are often forgotten or ignored. The situation for them and their families is dire:
- For many older people, it will be difficult, or even impossible, to access support due to disability, mobility issues or illness.
- Older people are more likely to have a long-term health condition, requiring specific medication and support.
- Older people in Gaza lack access to food and clean water. Malnutrition and dehydration pose serious health risks to older people and can worsen their pre-existing health conditions.
- As winter sets in, older people are more vulnerable to the effects of the cold and urgently need shelter, clothing and warm food to survive.

We are working with local partner organisations in Gaza and Lebanon to scale up our response, providing older people and their families with tailored support.
