A firsthand account: Being a frontline healthworker in Syria during COVID-19

Our colleague Maya shared her experiences working in healthcare in Syria during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. The war there has forced many people there to leave their homes, and Maya is no exception. She told us how difficult it is for older people living in camps to protect themselves from COVID-19, and her own fear of catching the virus.
