Ukraine: One Year On Interactive Feature

February 2023 marks one year since the conflict in Ukraine escalated. Age International has created a timeline of the conflict and its impact on older people, including how over 100,000 older people have been able to receive support.
Age International has supported older people living close to the line of contact in Ukraine since the conflict first arose in 2014. When the conflict escalated in February 2022, the Disasters Emergency Committee and member charities including Age International acted quickly to launch the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. The record breaking appeal received an unprecedented response from the generous UK public, enabling Age International to upscale its response and help many more older people.
