The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) commit all countries to ending poverty, protecting the planet and ensuring prosperity for all. Key to achieving this is the pledge to ‘Leave No One Behind’, which includes people of all ages. The SDGs will only be successful if older people’s rights and needs are taken fully into account.
We’re calling on David Lammy MP to make history by championing the rights of older people everywhere, with a public statement in support of a UN Convention on the Rights of Older Persons.
